At Dayspring Christian School, our elementary program lays a strong foundation—both academically and spiritually—for students in Kindergarten through sixth grade. Each day is thoughtfully designed to help children grow in knowledge, deepen their faith, and engage in hands-on, creative learning experiences. Our dedicated teachers build meaningful relationships with every student, creating a nurturing environment where each child feels seen, supported, and inspired to thrive.
Our elementary classrooms are vibrant, engaging spaces where children can be children—full of curiosity, creativity, and play. We believe in educating the whole child through:
Hands-on, experiential learning using learning stations and interactive activities that bring lessons to life
Dedicated outdoor playtime, with students in Preschool through 2nd grade enjoying two daily recess periods
Weekly enrichment classes in Art, Music, and Physical Education
Weekly STEAM Lab experiences, where students explore science and engineering through exciting projects like robotics and building simple machines
Personalized academic support, including reading intervention in small groups or one-on-one sessions with our qualified reading specialist
At DCS, we believe parents are vital partners in a child’s educational journey. That’s why we foster a strong home-school connection through:
Three weekly academic updates to keep parents informed and involved
A culture of volunteering, where parents are encouraged and celebrated for their involvement
Regular parent-teacher conferences focused on developing individualized learning plans tailored to each child’s needs
Family-focused events that bring our community together and strengthen relationships
Spiritual growth is woven into every part of our school day. We are intentional about helping students know God personally and live out their faith boldly.
Daily Bible instruction rooted in Scripture begins each school day
Midday personal devotions, led by teachers, provide time for reflection and prayer
Scripture memorization practice is built into each day to help students hide God’s Word in their hearts
Weekly chapel services include worship, interactive lessons, and Biblical teaching that cultivates Christ-like character
Biblical worldview integration is present in every subject, helping students connect their faith to all areas of learning
At DCS, our elementary students are not only growing academically—they are being equipped spiritually, emotionally, and socially to live as confident, compassionate followers of Christ.
