High School

At Dayspring Christian School, we recognize that the high school years are a critical time of preparation—academically, spiritually, and personally. As students move toward adulthood, these years present a powerful opportunity to solidify their identity in Christ, deepen their faith, and develop the knowledge and skills needed for future success. Our high school program is designed to challenge students intellectually, support them emotionally, and equip them spiritually, preparing them to step confidently into college, career, and the calling God has placed on their lives.

Curriculum and Instruction

Arts-Integrated Projects- Learning That Engages and Inspires

We believe students learn best by doing. That’s why we emphasize a project-based learning approach that brings academic content to life through creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.

  • Arts integrated projects encourage students to apply what they’ve learned in meaningful, hands-on ways using a variety of materials and creative art forms.
  • Group projects foster peer collaboration, helping students develop teamwork and communication skills while producing high-quality, shared outcomes.
  • Individual projects give students opportunities to strengthen their independence, self-direction, and personal accountability in their learning.

Preparing for the Future

We believe that every high school student should be encouraged to dream, plan and prepare for their future. At DCS, we work to provide our high school students with a variety of opportunities to help them reach their future goals.

  • A+ Scholarship Opportunity for students in high school to achieve so that they can qualify for two years free tuition at a community college or trade school. As an A+ Certified school our students can earn this scholarship through volunteer hours and meeting GPA requirements.
  • Dual Credit College Enrollment is available for DCS juniors and seniors at Evangel and OTC. DCS provides transport and support for our students interested in completing dual college/high school credits.
  • 50% off Evangel tuition is offered to our DCS graduates because we are a partner school with Evangel University.
  • Guidance Counseling is offered to all of our high school students by our Dean of Students to help our students set goals and prepare for their futures.

Daily Discipleship: Growing in Faith Every Day

Spiritual formation remains at the heart of everything we do at Dayspring Christian School, and our Daily Discipleship class is a cornerstone of the high school experience. This dedicated time each day helps students deepen their personal relationship with Christ and equips them to live out their faith with confidence and purpose.

  • Bible Reading Time helps students explore Scripture, reflect on its meaning and apply it to real-life situations
  • Guided discussions create space for reflection, prayer, and spiritual growth in a supportive classroom environment
  • Prayer and Worship is emphasized allowing students time to connect with God personally
  • Weekly Chapels include worship, interactive lessons, and Biblical teaching that cultivates Christ-like character

Through Daily Discipleship, our students aren’t just learning about God—they’re learning to walk with Him daily, building a foundation of faith that will guide them well beyond the middle school years.

Each high school class includes Biblical worldview integration, helping students connect their faith to all areas of learning
